CoinPoker
CoinPoker is a standalone crypto poker room on its own software. It spent its first seven years as a niche project built around the CHP token; since a change of ownership in 2024 it has become one of the largest cash-game rooms in the world, with USDT games from the micros to nosebleeds and a tournament calendar of eight-figure guarantees.
The room launched in 2017, co-founded and bankrolled by Tony G, with real-money games on the CHP token from 2018. Its early pitch was technical: a decentralised RNG where the player and the server each contribute a seed, hashed and published so every deal can be checked after the hand. It also drew early bot allegations, which have followed crypto rooms ever since.
The turning point came in August 2024, when new owners bought the room and pointed it at the mass market. Games moved from CHP to USDT, the welcome bonus and guarantees were scaled up, and the ambassador roster filled with high-stakes names. By mid-2026 the room averaged more than 2,000 seated cash players and briefly overtook PokerStars for second place worldwide, under an Anjouan licence that replaced its original Curaçao one.
A full client rebuild in March 2026 brought a built-in HUD, PLO6, Bomb Pots and all-in insurance, and a few months later every third-party tracker and solver was banned outright. Rakeback changed with it: the long-standing flat 33% was retired in favour of CoinRewards — hourly rake races, splash pots and missions worth around $7M a month in total, generous for volume players but far less predictable than a flat percentage. The room still fights bots in public, with proof-of-reserves and periodic mass bans.
